"A Day to Remember"
On Friday, September 9, our school shared in a "Freedom Walk" led by the American Legion Post 13 Color Guard and the Yates Center Fire Department to reflect on the lives lost on and since 9-11-2001. "It's a way to show our commitment to freedom and the values of our great country and honor veterans, firemen, EMS, and Policemen." We spent the week discussing the tragedy of 9-11-2001 and doing art activities to show our support and pride in our nation.
